DAY 01: ARRIVE Bangalore
Upon arrival at Bangalore welcome by Bharat Yatraa representative and transferred to hotel.. (Overnight At Hotel)
Day 02. Bangalore Sightseeing + PM Drive to Mysore
After breakfast visit Vidhan Sabha, Lallbagh (Botanical Garden). Bull Temple - One of the Oldest temple in 16th Century. (Overnight at Hotel.)
Day 03. Mysore Sightseeing + PM Train to Chennai by T.N. 2008 at 1420/2135 Hrs.
After breakfast visit Mysore Palace, Brindavan Gardens, Chamundeshwari Temple and Mahabaleshwar Temple. Afternoon you will be transferred to railway station for your train to Chennai, departs at 1420 Hrs. and arrives at 2135 Hrs. on arrival you will be met and transferred to hotel. (Overnight at hotel)
Day 04. Chennai Sightseeing
Morning after breakfast visit Fort ST. Geroge, Marina Beach, San Thome Basilica. (Overnight at hotel)
Day 05. Excursion to Kanchipuram + PM Overnight train to Madurai by T.N. 2637 at 2140/0635 Hrs.
Morning after breakfast take a full day excursion to Kanchipuram - one of the seven sacred cities in India was the historical capital of the Pallavas. Apart from the Pallava rulers the Cholas, Vijayanagar Kings, the Muslims and finally the Britishers too ruled this part of Tamilnadu. Evening Return to Chennai Railway Station to take your overnight train for Madurai, departs at 2140 hrs. (Overnight on board)
Day 06. Arrive Madurai at 0635 Hrs. + Meenakshi Temple
Arrive Madurai at 0635 hrs. on arrival you will be met and transferred to hotel. Afternoon visit Meenakshi Amman Temple: An icon of Tamil Nadu religious centre, Meenakshi Temple is built in Dravidian architectural style. Also visit of Vanditur Mariamman Teppakulam: This 17th century tank covers an area that equals to that of six Meenakshi temples. (Overnight at hotel)
Day 07. Excursion to Rameshwaram
Breakfast at hotel, then after take an excursion to Rameshwaram - is an island situated in the gulf of manner at the very tip of the Indian peninsula. Evening return back to hotel. (Overnight at hotel)
Day 08. Drive Madurai to Kanyakumari - 245 Kms./ 4 Hrs.
Breakfast at hotel, then after drive to Kanyakumari and check-in to hotel. Later enjoy the sightseeing tour of Swami Vivekananda Rock Memorial: The memorial was erected to commemorate the evening of December 25, 1892, when Swami Vivekananda visited Kanyakumari. (Overnight at hotel)
Day 09. Kanyakumari visits + PM Drive to Kovalam
Morning after breakfast visit Kumari Amman Temple: Kumari Amman Temple dedicated to Goddess Parvati as Devi Kanya (the Virgin Goddess) is an important shrine here. Also visit Temple Of Goddess Bhagavathi. Afternoon drive to Kovalam and check into hotel. Day is free to enjoy at the Kovalam beaches. (Overnight at hotel)
Day 10. At Kovalam
After breakfast at hotel sightseeing of Kovalam visiting The Kovalam Beach: Picturesque beaches, coconut fringes, the anglers community, all sorts of fruits, palm beer, a large multitude of tourists swarming the sandy seashore, the lighthouse-all these are epithets that signify Kovalam, the exotic beach situated in the southern state of Kerala, popularly known as Gods own country. Day 11. Drive Kovalam to Alleppey - 180 Kms./ 3 Hrs.
Breakfast at hotel, then after drive to Alleppey and check into House Boat. (Dinner & Overnight in House Boat)
Day 12. Drive Alleppey to Thekkady - 110 Kms./ 2 Hrs.
Breakfast at hotel, Later drive to Thekkady and check into hotel. Later enjoy the visit of Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary is a fascinating natural wildlife reserve spread across 777 sq. km, which was declared a Tiger Reserve in 1978. and also visit Mullaperiyar Dam across the Periyar river. Day 13. Drive Thekkedy to Munnar
Breakfast at hotel, then after drive to Munnar and check into hotel. (Overnight at hotel)
Day 14. Munnar Sightseeing
Morning after breakfast visit Tea gardens, Mattupetty Lake (13 km) and dam is surrounded by tall hills and forest. You can hire a boat, and walk down to the nearby dairy and cattle farm and Eravikulam Park (16 km) is where you can find the endangered Nilgiri Tahr (ibex). Docile and friendly. (Overnight at hotel)
Day 15. Drive Munnar to Cochin - 135 Kms./2 Kms.
Breakfast at htoel, then after drive to Cochin and check into hotel. Later visit Dutch Palace- Mattancherry, In The Centre Is The Coronation Hall Of The Cochin Maharajas. Jewish Synagogue - Mattancherry, Built In 1568, It Contains Grand Scrolls Of The Old Testament. St. Francis Church - The Oldest Church Built By Europeans in India. Vasco Da Gama Was Originally Buried Here, Gundu Island and Chinese Fishing Nets- Still In Use Going Back To Ancient Days When There Was Brisk Trade Between Cochin And China. (Overnight at hotel)
Day 16. Depart Cochin
Breakfast at hotel, then after you will be transferred to airport for your onward flight.
